Oneida River
The Oneida River is part of the historical border between Onondaga County and Oswego County. The Oneida river and Seneca rivers flow together in the Town of Clay, where they merge to form the Oswego river. This popular shore fishing spot is called “Three Rivers”. The Oneida River is home to all of the species that can be found in the Oneida Lake system, and the Finger Lakes drainage. The warm water species are the most abundant and most easily caught. Access, for shore angling, is limited to public parks and road right of way areas. Caution should always be used whenever fishing any body of water but extreme caution when angling in a river of this size.
