Fabius Brook
Fabius Brook begins it’s 6 mile southerly flow in the Northwest corner of the town of Fabius. The stream is a clear cold water stream that meanders through cedar swamps, woodlands, and pastures before it’s convergence with the Tioghnioga River.
Public Fishing Access signs are hung on trees where access is allowed. Most other access is granted at bridge crossings, and public lands.
Onondaga County Parks Carpenter's Brook Fish Hatchery stocks over 1,500 brook trout annually into the waters of Fabius Brook. It is one of the few streams in Onondaga County that flows in a Southerly direction. Fabius Brook creates difficult fishing due to the bank coverage but is great for anglers looking to catch wild and stocked brook trout, as well as big brown trout.
